Bakary Sylla

Managing Director

Bakary has more than 25 years of experience in the financial world with previous positions in banking and fund administration at ABN Amro Investment Funds, Citco Fund Services, Citi Edge Fund Services and PraxisIFM. He has worked in shareholder servicing teams specializing in funds and has extensive experience with different asset classes, particularly real estate, private equity, and funds of hedge funds. His involvement in fund administration has encompassed several management roles. Bakary holds a Master Degree of Law from the Université Catholique De Louvain in Belgium.

Alessandro Lanaro

President

Alessandro is the founder and main shareholder of M Group Sarl, composed of several companies operating in the eyewear industry. He started Modo Eyewear in New York right after college and expanded into global distribution and own manufacturing. Alessandro also started the Eco brand, a pioneer of sustainability in the eyewear world, producing frames from recycled, bio-based or ocean waste materials. Eco has planted close to 3 million trees in Africa and Modo has helped over 1.3 million children in India with their vision needs. Alessandro holds a Degree in Economy from the University of Venice in Italy.
